We live in a time in which so many things compete for our attention our careers, our finances, our relationships that attending to our health often ends up last on our priority list. Even people who go regularly to the gym often concentrate primarily on being thin rather than being heart healthy and building strong bones and muscle. For most of us, good health is the first gift we receive when we come into this life and for all of us, it's the last thing taken from us. I prepare all meals with fresh, natural ingredients: herbs, vegetables and nuts (when appropriate). I love to create different salad dressings and sauces depending on the main and vegetable dishes. The right sauce is what makes any dish special. When I came to this country I learned about ingredients and foods different from those of my native land. When I travel to Europe I pick up ideas from its regional cooking methods but regardless from where I garner my culinary ideas, my number one priority is a simple, healthful and delicious meal.
